As a gathering place on the high school campus

The Friends of the Michael White Adobe are planning and raising funds for the Adobe's long-term preservation. This will include seismic retrofitting (strengthening the structure to withstand earthquakes) and finding a new use that will preserve this historic structure for future generations.

Adapting the Adobe into a Hall of Fame featuring Academics, Athletics, Arts and Alumni would align with the San Marino Unified School District’s strategic plan to deliver a world-class education. We envision the future of the Michael White Adobe as a place honoring current and past student achievement and serving as a welcoming gathering space.
